I will be there most likely. What time does it start and can you post what the format is going to be. Jack will be there as well. Both of us will be late.

Hey guys/gals, Jim S. here,

This is just a posting of the e-mail I sent out about poker at my house on 7/21. I forgot to mention the time in the e-mail, but a couple of people wondered if we could start a little bit later. We're looking at showing up at 7 PM and getting started not too much after that. I'll be getting some of the chairs from Kurts, but please feel free to bring an extra one.

Everything is a go for this Friday at my house for the "Off Friday Poker Night". The non-league format will be very similar to last time, which mostly everyone seemed to enjoy. One big tournament, No-Limit Texas Hold'em, with rebuys during the first hour, and one add-on at the end of the first hour only. Unlike last time we are going to limit the quantity of "bad-beat" rebuys to one during the first hour. The purpose of the rebuy is to make it fair in the case that someone got beat on the River, etc. We've decided to limit the number of rebuys because we don't want to promote extremely loose play, while keeping the game enjoyable. For those who weren't there last time the buy-in was $20, with rebuys of a full stack ($2000) at $20 if you are busted out. After the first three 20 minute blinds (I think keeping to 20 minute Blinds is good) there will be an approx. 5 minute break at which players can buy add-ons, which gives you a half stack extra ($1000) for half price ($10). This is all set up so that we can have a competitive evening for a minimal price ($20 or so).

Directions to my house is pretty simple.

Travel as if you are going to Kurt's house. From route 123 (this is the main road that we turn off of to go to Kurt's neighborhood) drive past Kurt's turn off towards County square. At the light (liquor store on your right), take a right onto County Street. Drive on County about a mile and a half or so and take the second right, onto Read Street. You'll be driving past the Stone-E-Lea golf course on your right (it will be the next right). About a 1/4 mile down (right after you drive under the Route 95 overpass) take the next left onto Tanya Drive. I'm the fourth house (green) down on the left, first house on the Cul-de Sac. Park anywhere and come to the back and down through the bulkhead.

If you have any problems please call me at (508)761-7733

Last time we got 14 players, and $180 went to both first and second, with 3rd and 4th place finishing in the money as well. I hope to keep this as similar as possible.

If you plan on coming, and please feel free to bring any friends, please e-mail so we have an idea on how many will be showing. If you can't make it during the first hour or so, that will be ok, and as we did last time we will post the blinds for those who will be late.

Later,

Jim
